Paideia Christian Academy

Based on feedback from those at our last community meeting, we will schedule our next meeting in January. Please attend to hear updates from the board on their work towards accreditation and incorporation, and advancements being made on donations and outreach.

We will do a pot-luck lunch again in the back fellowship hall of New Life Community Church (275 29th Ave, Marion, IA 52302) from 12 PM to 2 PM.

We had our first community meeting of interested families at NLCC’s fellowship hall. We shared a meal, gave an update on the board’s focus on the accreditation and incorporation processes, and had an open conversation where Jon Grose and Karlin Stutzman from the board answered questions from interested families.

While the board is focused on the accreditation process through the end of the year, we are particularly looking for volunteer help to kickstart fundraising, online media, and community outreach efforts.

The group decided that we would meet again in January once this process is complete and we can have more detailed conversations together about some of the next steps.

We will have our first meeting as a community of families interested in the starting of this school on October 26 at 12 PM at New Life Community Church (275 29th Ave, Marion, IA 52302). We will have a potluck followed by an update from the board on incorporation and accreditation efforts, next steps for the rest of 2025, and an open discussion led by topics from the attendees.

We are planning to meet from 12 PM – 2 PM in the back Fellowship Hall of the church. Please bring a main dish, side dish, or dessert to share. All are welcome to come for more information. Childcare is not provided, but there are spaces inside and outside the building for them to play.
