We are raising funds in advance of opening in 2026. With the high costs associated with starting up a school, raising funds in advance will give us strong cash flow throughout our first year.
Our largest immediate cost in 2026 will be the staff we want to hire in advance of opening. Funds raised in advance will allow us to hire a full-time headmaster, and make offers to teachers knowing we have funds in reserve. Beyond staff, we have costs for insurance, training, classroom supplies, curriculum, etc.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 by May 1, 2026. While this feels like a steep hill to us, we want to challenge our faith in God’s provision. Most of our funding comes through tuition, and so our budgeted fundraising need for Year 1 is about half of this amount. However, since ESAs disburse in August and December, raising this amount upfront will allow us to have strong cashflow in Year 1, and momentum beyond Year 1. This cannot happen without your generosity, and God’s blessing, and we thank you in advance for any amount you may choose to give.
If you feel led to give, New Life Community Church has agreed to hold funds on our behalf until PCA is fully incorporated as a 501(c)(3). Any donations NLCC receives that note “Paideia Christian Academy”, “PCA”, or “School” will be held in a separate account until PCA is able to receive those funds. Any donations made to NLCC are tax deductible giving to a charitable organization.
We anticipate tax deductible direct giving to PCA being available in 2026. In the meantime you can visit https://newlifecr.com/giving/ and give in any of the ways listed. Be sure to note where you are directing the funds so they know to set it aside!
